Venomous flying spiders to spread along East Coast, scientists say

The Joro spider is a venomous flying spider that's expected to spread along the East Coast this summer, scientists say. The colorful critters have a 4-inch leg span and use a technique called ballooning, where they release silk threads that catch the wind, blowing them as high as 3 miles into the air.
