Uncertainty behind sharp declines in stock market
The Federal Reserve begins a two-day meeting Tuesday and is expected to raise interest rates. This comes amid sharp stock declines that are hammering Americans' 401(k)s. The Dow plunged 507 points Monday, and the S&P 500 dropped 54 points. It is down nearly five percent for the year.
