Treating High Cholesterol

Marc Sabatine, M.D., Chairman of the TIMI Study Group and a Senior Physician in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, discusses his study which found after a year of therapy, the medication evolocumab, reduced by half both LDL cholesterol, heart attacks and other major cardiovascular problems compared to standard treatment alone.
