In cities like Midland, Texas, which rely on oil fields as their primary source of jobs and revenue, residents are dealing with a double blow from plummeting prices of oil and the economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Midland Mayor Patrick Payton said it could be at least two years before the city's economy could be moving as normal again.
