Temporary Protected Status program cleared way for Venezuelans receiving legal status
The Biden administration is granting nearly half a million Venezuelan migrants temporary legal status, allowing them access to work permits in the U.S. The White House was able to make the move under an expansion of the Temporary Protected Status program.
