A study in JAMA analyzed blood samples of 24 people who used sunscreen four times a day, for four days. Researchers found levels of four chemical ingredients that exceed the FDA’s recommended limits. The authors caution that the health effects, if any, are unknown, and people should continue to apply sunscreen to protect against skin cancer.
