Seattle high schools find later start time improves academic performance
A new study suggests many teenagers are not getting enough sleep. The research adds fuel to the argument school start times should be moved back. Only 15 percent of high schools follow the American Academy of Pediatrics advice and start at 8:30 a.m. or later. One Seattle school district that switched to a later start time is giving the study's results high marks. Dr. Tara Narula reports.
