Safety concerns rise over the use of biologic drugs
Biologic drugs are used to treat autoimmune diseases, but a report by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel found the drugs have been linked to more than 500,000 serious adverse events, 34,000 of which resulted in deaths, in the last 15 years.
