Retired general calls for one-year national service campaign
During his long military career, retired four-star army general Stanley McChrystal led U.S. and international forces in Afghanistan. He was also in charge of the Joint Special Operations Command, the nation’s premiere military counterterrorism force. Now he’s on a new mission, called “Serve America Together.” It’s a one-year paid national service for young Americans over the age of 18, who will help communities in critical areas like education, the environment, and disaster relief. General McChrystal joins "CBS This Morning" from Washington.
