Protect yourself from gift card scams
The National Retail Federation says we are expected to spend more than $700 billion shopping for the holidays. For the 12th year in a row, gift cards remain the most popular items on wish lists. But a new warning from the Better Business Bureau says criminals are wiping gift cards clean before you have a chance to use them.
