Pete Hegseth speaks for first time since New Yorker report on alleged misconduct
CBS News has confirmed that Pete Hegseth, President-elect Donald Trump's pick to serve as the next U.S. defense secretary, was forced to step down from a previous leadership role with a nonprofit due to accusations of financial mismanagement, sexual impropriety and repeated intoxication while on the job.
