Pentagon looks to ramp up U.S. role in Afghanistan fight
The Pentagon may get more involved in Afghanistan after more than 15 years of fighting there. President Trump will consider a plan this week to add more troops to the fight against the Taliban, which would increase the number of American and NATO forces in the country by about 3,000.
