Olympics could ease tensions between North and South Korea
At the Olympics in South Korea, U.S. freeskier Nick Goepper won silver in the ski slopestyle competition. As important as games are to the athletes, they could also help bring peace to the troubled region. Twenty-two athletes from North Korea participated in the games, and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un issued a rare invitation to South Korea’s president to visit the North.
