Off-duty L.A. police officer hailed a hero after fiery Christmas Day rescue
Don Thompson, a 26-year Los Angeles Police Department veteran and bomb squad member, was on his way to work when he witnessed a crash on the 405 freeway in Los Angeles. Risking his own life, he pulled the 72-year-old driver from the fiery wreck. Ben Tracy reports.
