Report: Facebook gave data to Chinese telecommunications companies
Facebook has given access to user data to four Chinese manufacturers, including one that U.S. intelligence officials consider a security threat, according to The New York Times. According to the Times, the social media giant has had an agreement since at least 2010 with Huawei, which senior U.S. intelligence officials advised consumers to avoid purchasing phones the telecommunications company manufactured.
