Many Democrats rally around Harris after Biden drops out
Vice President Kamala Harris quickly emerged as the top contender for the presidential nomination for Democrats. Nearly two-thirds of the party in the House and at least 29 Democratic senators have endorsed her. If she can secure the nomination, it would make her the first woman of color to be at the top of a major party's ticket.
