Leahy blasts NSA's "sheer negligence"
"I think there was sheer negligence on the part of some in the NSA who would allow a 29-year-old subcontractor to come in have access to all this information," said Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt. "If we are going to have all this information what are we doing to protect it? Obviously, they didn't do an awful lot."
