Inside Seattle's "autonomous zone"
In the wake of protests against police brutality, officers in Seattle withdrew to the edges of the city's Capitol Hill neighborhood in an attempt to deescalate tensions. Activists have since occupied a six block stretch now known as both CHAZ (Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone) and CHOP (Capitol Hill Occupied Protest).
