If OxyContin-maker Purdue Pharma files for bankruptcy plaintiffs could see smaller payouts
A government source tells CBS News the maker of OxyContin could file for bankruptcy as early as Wednesday. Purdue Pharma and its owners, members of the Sackler family, have been negotiating a potential settlement for months over Purdue's alleged role in fueling the nationwide opioid epidemic.
