House, Senate Budget chairs reach deal to preempt another gov't shutdown
The chairs of the House and Senate Budget Committees, Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., and Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., announce the first bipartisan budget in four years, which sets spending for the 2014 fiscal year at $1.012 trillion, including $63 billion of sequester relief and $85 billion of total savings.
