HBCUs, Forest Service team up to fill growing need for firefighters
The U.S. Forest Service is partnering with Historically Black Colleges and Universities to fill a growing need for more wildland firefighters. Agricultural and forestry students from HBCUs spend their summers training on wildfire suppression tactics.
