Replacment appointed for resigning Sen. Bob Menendez
New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy has appointed his former chief of staff, George Helmy, to fill the Senate seat that will be vacated by Bob Menendez. Menendez is resigning next week after being convicted of bribery charges.
