Former felons in Florida still fighting for voting rights
Florida voters in 2018 overwhelmingly approved a proposition to allow roughly 1.5 million felons in the state to be given back their right to vote. But the COVID-19 pandemic and a controversial law put in place by Republican Governor Ron DeSantis could jeopardize many of these returning citizens' ability to vote in the 2020 election.
