FDA commissioner responds to U.K. authorizing COVID vaccine ahead of U.S.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Americans need to quarantine for seven to 10 days after being exposed to the coronavirus, a decrease from its earlier recommendation of 14 days. The outbreak in the U.S. has gone from bad to catastrophic with nearly 2,600 people dying from COVID on Tuesday, the country's second-highest single-day death toll since the pandemic began.
