FDA: Anti-bacterial soaps should prove safety and efficacy
The Food and Drug Administration is taking a look at anti-bacterial soaps and body washes and proposing a rule that companies must prove the chemicals used in those products are safe and effective. Dr. Nicole Bouvier, assistant professor of infectious diseases at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, talks about the proposal with the "CBS This Morning" co-hosts.
