Criminals look to exploit coronavirus anxiety with fake tests, online scams
On Friday, Attorney General William Barr urged the public to report coronavirus-related scams, many of which have been popping up online to take advantage of public fear and misinformation. The DOJ has recommended that each U.S. attorney’s office establish a coronavirus fraud coordinator.
