California Redwood tree lightning strike
An 80 foot tall redwood tree became a lightning rod sending a powerful bolt of electricity though its trunk damaging the deck and home of a Sausalito, California woman. Though the lightning blast shattered windows and charred outlets, fortunately no one was injured.
