Bipartisan lawmakers ask Congress to meet early for hurricane aid
Florida and several surrounding states suffered enormous financial losses from Hurricanes Milton and Helene. Lawmakers of both political parties are calling for Congress to reconvene to pass emergency funds before the 2024 election.
