Arming Chicago youth with strength against violence
So far this year, the city of Chicago has recorded a total of 546 shootings. To fight this, a YMCA youth program called Urban Warriors, created by a former gang member, brings together at-risk youth with military veterans who share a common experience: the stresses of a battle zone.
