Americans know wealth inequality is a problem, but what does it look like?
The growing gap between rich and poor Americans is one of the U.S.’s biggest challenges, with the top 1% controlling more wealth now than at any time in the last 50 years. A recent survey found that over half the country thinks it’s a problem, though most people might not know exactly what wealth inequality looks like.
