11/28: Shorter shopping season could affect retailers; autistic adults find jobs where attention to detail is key
With Thanksgiving falling on the latest day possible this year, the holiday shopping season is the shortest it ever is -- just 26 days. Many retailers are trying to make up for lost time, by starting seasonal sales earlier and opening for business on Thanksgiving; and, Seventy-five percent of autistic adults are unemployed, but their uncanny ability to focus intensely on minute details is making them attractive to computer software companies.
