Why have tree limbs been suddenly dropping this summer?

The Forest Service is warning about something they're calling a bit of a mystery. They say this summer, they're seeing more and more limbs fall off of large, seemingly healthy trees. The agency says it's not totally sure why this is happening, but suggests everything from drought conditions to extreme heat, and even pests or disease could be playing a role.
