North Texas towns in the path of totality for the total solar eclipse

The total solar eclipse event will begin for North Texas around 12:23 p.m. and then totality—when the moon is entirely in front of the sun—will happen between 1:40 and 1:44 p.m. The moon will make its final exit from around the sun around 3:02 p.m.
