Lancaster woman says taking a shower likely saved her life after touching poison hemlock

A Lancaster woman was clearing weeds near her home on Memorial Day when she started to feel itchy. She unknowingly exposed herself to poison hemlock. If ingested, poison hemlock can kill animals or humans from respiratory paralysis two to three hours, but just touching it can also cause poisoning.
