FDA committee says nasal decongestants don't work

An FDA committee says popular over-the-counter medicines for colds and allergies don't work. The committee has been looking into phenylephrine, which is the main ingredient used in medicines such as Sudafed PE, Mucinex Sinus-Max, Theraflu, Vick's Dayquil, Nyquil Severe Cold and Flu and others.
