Americans hear direct from Trump for the first time since assassination attempt
Former President Donald Trump said he would only talk about his very public near-death experience once because it was too painful to tell.
He thanked the Secret Service members who jumped on him to protect him and said God was on his side. Trump said while on the ground, he could see how concerned his supporters were, which led to a moment many of them have said they will never forget.
