3 days until government shutdown deadline
The U.S. funding for the government expires Sunday, October 1. And right now there's no plan in place to stop it. The White House is calling on House Republicans to back the Senate's bipartisan stopgap bill that would temporarily keep the government running with a continuing resolution. But some members of the House GOP are not showing signs of compromise.
