The search for a murder suspect led to a shooting involving authorities Wednesday night at an apartment complex in west Fort Worth. Tony Novello was struck in the arm as officers attempted to arrest him.
The investigation is still within its preliminary stages and detectives are still working to determine a timeline of what exactly happened.
No officers were injured. The suspect is expected to be okay.
Police said Trestin Clyde Durante, 21, was taken into custody at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday without incident.
