The manhunt for a murder suspect who shot a Dallas police officer Thursday afternoon ended with his arrest in Lewisville.
It happened just after 11 p.m. Sept. 10 in the 1400 block of Randol Crossing Lane, at the Randol Crossing Apartments.
Police said the woman died at the scene, and the three men were taken to a local hospital where one of them is in critical condition.
When searching John Porter's home, agents reportedly found paperwork for the same gun recovered from the shooting. He was legally barred from owning firearms in 1996.
"It was chaos," one neighbor said.
