The first severe weather of 2025 may have come and gone, but it left a big mess across North Texas.
Thousands of North Texas residents are without power Tuesday morning, with Dallas County reporting the most outages.
Many Oncor customers are without electricity due to early morning storms, with Wise County facing the highest number of outages.
The Oncor website notes that out of more than 4 million customers they serve, there are 56 outages affecting 880 customers.
So far, Oncor has restored power for some 600,000.
Just over 124,000 North Texans are still without power after severe storms knocked down power lines this week. Oncor says about 10,000 crews have been dispatched to repair the lines.
A representative for Oncor said crews are working around the clock.
Oncor says teams are prepared and will continue to monitor all weather developments and potential impacts.
