A 25-year-old man from Mississippi has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of Terrell Police Officer Jacob Candanoza, according to the Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office.
"It's not a cliche to say we lost a good one. He was a good one."
Neither the officer nor the suspect's conditions are known, but Greenville police said both are receiving medical attention. The shooting took place Monday night around 8 p.m.
