Yu's Drought: 4 Consecutive Starts Without A Win

ARLINGTON (AP) - Yu Darvish is going through a drought unlike any he's been through with the Texas Rangers.

The ace from Japan has made four consecutive starts without a victory for his first time in the majors.

Since last winning May 16, Darvish lost a 1-0 game and has had three consecutive no-decisions. The major league strikeout leader has a 2.28 ERA over that stretch, when the Rangers scored only 10 total runs in his games.

The right-hander says he feels as if he's done his job and that the streak hasn't really affected him.

Darvish (7-2) starts Thursday in the opener of a four-game series against Toronto. It will be his second consecutive start against the Blue Jays. He pitched the first seven innings of the Rangers' 18-inning loss in Toronto on Saturday.
