YouTube User Investigated In Fort Worth Police Chase
FORT WORTH (KRLD/CBSDFW.COM) - A police chase in Fort Worth involving a man recklessly driving a forklift could get another driver in trouble. The incident happened on Sunday along University Boulevard, ending in the middle of Interstate-30.
The chase started as a crawl-speed pursuit by just a single police cruiser, but it escalated to include several police cars. Authorities said that 43-year-old Timothy Raines was drunk and shirtless as he drove the forklift, tossing empty beer cans at the officers in pursuit. (Click here to read more about the chase.)

At one point during the chase, the forklift veered into a parking lot before returning to the road and creeping onto westbound Interstate-30 in Fort Worth. Police eventually circled the forklift and shot the driver with a Taser before taking him into custody.
But Raines is not the only person under investigation in this incident. A video of the chase was posted on YouTube by 25-year-old Nathan Lowrey, as he and a friend followed police officers in their own vehicle. Now, Fort Worth police are trying to determine if Lowrey was endangering traffic during the incident. If so, Lowrey could face possible charges.

Raines was charged with auto theft, driving while intoxicated, evading arrest, violation of a protective order and aggravated assault. He now sits in Tarrant County Jail.
