ARLINGTON (CBSDFW) - It will be a busy week ahead for WWE wrestling fans in North Texas.

There are several interactive events going on this week, all leading up to Sunday's big Wrestlemania show at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Charlotte Jones Anderson is the chief Brand officer of the Dallas Cowboys and admits convincing Vince McMahon to bring the big show to their stadium was intimidating.

"I made the pitch of why we needed to be together and why WrestleMaina had to happen here" said Jones-Anderson. "When it was over, Vince looked down the table and said 'We're going to come to AT&T Stadium.'

Some have compared WrestleMania to the Super Bowl when it comes to excitement, attendance, and the spending power of it's fans.

Theron Bowman with the city of Arlington says they expect nearly $42 million worth of economic impact in the form of shopping, food and lodging.

According to reports, the main goal is to fill up the stadium with more than 100,000 fans to break the WrestleMania record set back in 1987.
