As a kid, my mama called me hard headed. My PawPaw Brown called me "Rebel" ("Reb" for short because I went my own way) and my Grandmaw constantly told me I would be on the radio. I believe all those things combined propelled me to succeed in an industry that was and still is majority male. I'm lucky. I had support growing up but there are other women who did not and THAT is what the Women's Leadership Live event is all about.
