Woman, Man Found Dead At Schertz Home, 2 Girls Unharmed

SCHERTZ, Texas (AP) — Police say a woman and a man have been found stabbed to death at a home near San Antonio in an apparent murder-suicide.
Investigators in Schertz say two girls who live at the house were seen running along a street Wednesday night and a neighbor contacted police. That led to discovery of the bodies.
The girls were not hurt and have been placed with relatives.
Schertz police did not immediately release names of the adults who died or their relationship with each other and the children. Police believe the man killed the woman, whose body was in the home, then took his own life. His body was in the yard.
