Woman Killed In I-20 Motorcycle Crash
DALLAS COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - A woman was killed Sunday when the motorcycle she was riding was hit from behind along I-20 in southwest Dallas County.
The accident happened after 10 p.m. as a group of motorcycles was traveling eastbound along the freeway near Cedar Ridge Drive on the Duncanville/Dallas border. The group had to slow and one of the riders was hit from behind by a car.
She was pronounced dead on scene.
The driver of the car that hit her was also hurt and was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The freeway was shut down for several hours as Dallas County Sheriff's deputies worked the accident.
The name of the woman killed was not available early Monday morning and there was no word on whether anyone would face charges.
