Woman Jailed For Roughing-Up Great Grandmother
A Dallas woman is in the Garland jail accused of roughing-up a great grandmother in a robbery.
The 88-year old victim was headed into a store on Beltline in Garland July 14th when she was attacked. She was walking up to the store carrying a pie when she was knocked down from behind. Her purse was stolen and she had to go to the hospital for stitches.
Officer Joe Harn says a short time later someone tried to use the victim's credit card. She was caught on surveillance video and police identified that person as 25-year old Aime Richie of Dallas...who was arrested and faces a charge of aggravated robbery.
