IRVING (CBS 11 NEWS) -  Joanna Reyes says she is upset at the lack of information following her mother's death over the weekend on train tracks off of Nursery road in Irving. Although the medical examiner has yet to Identify the woman Reyes says her mothers name is Rosa Reyes. She was 62 years old.

Reyes claims she had been looking for her mom since Saturday and wasn't getting any information from authorities. It was a call to the medical examiner that ultimately convinced her the nameless woman who had been hit and killed by a train was her mother. She was able to speak to an investigator who confirmed the clothes her mother was wearing as well as a scar.

Reyes said , "I am here to fight for my mother because she can't speak for herself right now. Something went wrong that day, and it will come out."

Reyes was further frustrated by reports that her mother was homeless.

She added "I will let you know my mother was certainly not homeless."

The medical examiner says it could be weeks before they can make a positive identification.
