DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM ) - Two men pulled a 37-year-old woman out of her BMW Thursday in downtown Dallas; brutally beating her before taking off in her car.

"They kept hitting me and kept hitting me… I just kept saying 'Jesus, Jesus' then they threw me on the ground and then I got up because I was still scared. I didn't know if they were going to come back or something," said carjacking victim Sarah Hoff. "One of them punched me one time the other one punched me twice."

The attack happened behind a secure iron gate in the parking garage of the Davis Building on Main Street.

Hoff said she believes the violent carjackers followed her inside before the gate closed. The special education teacher suffered a black eye, bruises and several cuts from the beating. Hoff said she has no idea who her attackers were and wonders how she will explain her battered face to the special education class she teaches.

"I just know I feel pain. I can't bear to look at myself in the mirror because I don't want to see what they did to me 'cause I just don't get it," said Hoff tearfully.

Hoff and her sister said Dallas Police told them that security camera video captured the car leaving the garage. But police haven't confirmed whether or not that's true.

Police are looking for the carjackers.
